Ian walked into the radio tower with a scowl on his face.
"Those kids messed everything up!" He thought to himself. "I shouldn't have been so cocky..." he muttered. He shrugged it off and walked to the elevator. Giovanni had told him to send him a coded message through the radio. The code was different depending on whether he succeeded or failed, Ian gulped and took a deep breath as he walked towards the elevator. He wasn't looking forward to this.
Suddenly the receptionist called out, "Excuse me, sir, you can't go in there!" Ian kept walking regardless. The receptionist started yelling, "I don't want to use force sir, please step away from the elevator!" Ian stopped in his tracks and smirked slightly. He spun around and tossed out a pokeball, his Ratticate leapt out, knocking the receptionist down.
"Just make sure she doesn't call security," he muttered to his pokemon as he stepped into he elevator. The doors slid closed and soothing music started playing. Ian punched the speaker angrily and the music fizzled out. The doors slid open and he walked over to the microphone station, ignoring the odd glares of the radio employees. He activated it, took another calming breath, and spoke the code.

A team rocket grunt monitoring the station jumped out of his seat as he heard this. He printed out a transcript and ran to his boss's office. He barged through the doors and placed the sheet of paper on the desk in one motion.
"Sir, you're going to want to read this."

Ian repeated the code several times, just to ensure Giovanni would receive it and sat down. After about two minutes later, an employee decided to walk over and ask him what he was doing up here, but after a menacing glare he decided better of it.
Ian glanced down at his watch repeatedly, anxiously waiting for the elevator doors to slide open. Although it felt like hours, he wasn't waiting long. There was a beep as the elevator arrived at its station. Ian stood up and started walking towards it when his Ratticate was propelled through the now open doors. Ian rolled to the side to avoid being crushed by his stunned Pokemon and took cover. He knew Giovanni would be pissed, but throwing his own Ratticate at him, that was a bit extreme! A series of metallic clanks filled the room and Ian could hear the radio employees scatter.
"I don't know who you are or how you knew that code, but believe me, I'll find out."
Ian suddenly was stricken with confusion, this guy wasn't Giovanni… How did he know about the code?
"So you are brave enough to overtake a radio station, and then threaten me, but not brave enough to show your face?"
Now Ian was really confused, but he wasn't going to just sit there and take that. I jumped out of hiding and tried to release the Drapion but a purple flash intercepted the pokeball. Ian stood there stunned as an Arbok dropped the ball into a man's hand. The man put the ball in an empty spot on his sash. Ian was about to pull out his tranquilizer gun when he saw the red R plastered across the man's black shirt.
"You're Team Rocket?" Ian asked.
The man chuckled slightly, "And it would appear you are as well, odd…I don't recall hiring you. Now let's get back to the broadcast shall we? That code is only to be used in the direst of circumstances, and NEVER on a public channel… and most certainly never used by someone outside of Team Rocket. I want to know exactly who you are and how you know that code!"
Ian was taken aback, "What are you talking about? Giovanni told me to come here and broadcast the code when I finished my…."
"Giovanni?" The man interrupted, "I haven't heard that name used in years."
"But… he's the leader of Team…."
The man burst into laughter behind his plated mask, "I'm Rocket Leader, Giovanni hasn't been in the picture for several years." Rocket Leader looked at Ian's attire, "You are either a very poor impersonator of Team Rocket, or just a very confused individual. Either way you are hardly worth my time." He pulled a pokeball out from his sash, "But I don't suppose I have anything better to do."
Ian looked over at his stunned Ratticate and at the captured Drapion in Rocket Leader's sash. He quickly searched himself, desperately hoping to find a pokeball he may have forgotten about, cursing when he couldn't find one.
Rocket Leader laughed again and tossed the pokeball.
This is the sixth chapter in an alternate universe of pokemon. The story is centered around a class of students enrolled in a pokemon school in the Ribingu Region, whose class trip to the forest took an unexpected turn.
